Hear about: agricultural events, seed-exchange, community projects, new farmers’ markets, local restaurants supporting local food, regulations affecting small farms, Powell River’s fame as the first formally declared GE-free Crop Area.

Will include a calendar, local buy & sell, and articles of interest to those who enjoy the exquisitely fine, farm dining of Powell River; tender baby salad greens, blackberry vinaigrette, organic lamb, feta goat cheese, oysters, honey on rustic sourdough bread, chanterelles, roasted garlic and fava beans…..
